TGIF, am I right?!?!?!
The peaceful sounds of nature, the fresh air, and on the water is my happy place. Even if I get zero bites on my fishing pole it’s still amazing.
If you’re having a TGIF moment you should really dedicate some time to finding a relaxing place that isn’t chaotic for you. Even for a small amount of time. Even if it’s just watching this video in a quiet room taking you away from the crazy life everyone leads.
Reviewing this Gopro footage now gives me the itch to throw my kayak back on my roof rack and head there again.
Hagg Lake has SO much to offer:
- disc golf
Here’s a map of the lake to show you all the little spots you can go.
Comment below if you have any places or things you like to do on a TGIF moment. I’d love to hear from others. Maybe I’ll find a new favorite location among the comments.

Today I wanted to honor two loving parents, Kim & Phil! Tomorrow will be a very hard day as they prepare to say goodbye to their furry boy Ike. We love our pets as if they are our own children. Saying goodbye is never an easy thing. Ike was so blessed to have amazing dedicated parents providing him with such a great life where others may have given up. He has lived a wonderous life because of it.
Ike faced a long battle in which he spent several years without the use of his back legs. To help him lead a more normal life he was fitted for his very own wheelchair. I was lucky enough to photograph their family in 2011. Ike looked very dapper that day! It was clear he still had lots of life in him and his parents knew it!
In honor of Ike I’d like to ask anyone reading this to take some time out of your day and play with your fury kids. Toss the ball, go for a walk, or scratch that favorite spot.
Are you tired of getting those annual “blah” school pictures??? Well DRP is offering up a solution!

All kids must have a scheduled time, including siblings!!!

“For what is it to die, But to stand in the sun and melt into the wind? And when the Earth has claimed our limbs, Then we shall truly dance.”
The amazing quote posted on Oni Holub’s Facebook (Herk’s daughter & my best friend) yesterday.
This has been a long battle for Herk and his family. He fought for several years and is now pain free! I know he’s looking down on us with those loving eyes of his.
In honor of him I’d love to share the photo shoot I did with them Oct 8th 2011.
I promise to look after Ma’ma Wendy and Oni. Rest In Peace, Papa Holub! Love you!
I had the honor of doing my 2nd maternity session with parents Michael & Sarah Owen. I first met them when I did big brother Isaac’s maternity & newborn sessions two years prior. It was truly an honor they allowed me to photograph both of their children before and after their magical days. We had a fantastic time with the doting parents and loving brother.
Luke Henry Owen was born at 8:42am on Friday, January 27th. He weighed a healthy 7lbs 9 oz, and was 20 inches long.
Enjoy a video of their maternity & newborn session highlights.
